I’ve made it big!
You know you must be getting big when you start getting spam comments! 🙂
Luckily I’ve got a plug-in installed that takes care of those for me!
Otherwise, I’ve survived the first day of classes! I’m not behind in work yet!
Happy New Year!
2005 was an interesting year, lots to reflect on for sure. There were natural disasters, birthdays, anniversaries, a year of school completed, the expectation of another child, interviews to name a few.
This has been an interesting past year. Vocationally I feel I’ve grown a lot. Personally it was a tough year for our family as I was pretty much completely submerged into my second year of theological school. But in the same notion, I think I’ve learned a lot about balancing family, academic and church life. Just how much I’ve learned will be played out over the next few months once school starts back up on Tuesday. I would like to highly recommend the book The Five Love Languagesby Dr. Gary Chapman, it’s a wonderful book that should be read by all married, and soon to be married, couples.
2006 brings more interviews, the new baby and the possibility of internship. The optomist in me looks forward to what this year brings as I think it will be quite exciting and full of opportunities for growth.
God bless you all in 2006
Restful…
I am so greatful to have spent some quality time with my family over the last few weeks since school ended before Christmas. It has been fun and restful, and I think I’m ready for another term starting Tuesday morning.
We spent a week at Bev’s folks in Cape Breton for Christmas, it was a quiet and restful week that Bev and I both needed. I should probably get the Christmas pics up on the photos website soon, before I start getting busy again. Anna did very well this Christmas, and loves the toys she got! I might even put some batteries into a couple of them to let them make their noises! 🙂
I’ve attempted to get a little pre-work done before term starts. So far, I’ve been working on getting my workshops on using projection in worship put together, as well as planning such a service for our early service on January 8th. This should be a good term, we shall see how it progresses.
Merry Christmas!
From my family to yours!
It it finished
Well, the term is anyways.
Emailed my take-home exam to my prof on Thursday afternoon. On Friday Bev and I took Anna to grandma’s for the weekend while we had a quite weekend to rest and reconnect, as well as get out for some Christmas events.
It was a nice weekend, but it was also great when Anna came home last night.
Now I get a couple weeks to relax, spend time with the family and get a little pre-work done for next term. Should be good…
