I sang my first ever solo at worship in the chapel yesterday. I played the guitar as well, but had another guy playing along with me in case I got too nervous to do both.
I made it through pretty well, I missed a chord once, so I just stopped playing for a moment and sang until I picked up the chord again the next time it came up. Lots of encouraging words afterwards, I think they may have even meant it! 🙂
